Accessibility statement

Last updated November 6, 2026

Draft for review. This page describes how Jandshake works today. It hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer yet and may change before public launch.

We want everyone to be able to share and review deals on Jandshake, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology.

Our standard

We design and test Jandshake against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AAA, the highest level, not just the usual AA. Jandshake partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 AAA: most of it meets the standard, and the known exceptions are listed below. That means, among other things:

  • text contrast of at least 7:1 in both light and dark themes;
  • every control at least 44 by 44 pixels;
  • everything works with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus ring;
  • plain language, and pages that work at 320 pixels wide and at 400% zoom;
  • no motion when you've asked your device to reduce it.

How we check

Every change runs automated accessibility checks on the main screens in light and dark themes, in a right-to-left language, and on a phone-sized screen. We also check new screens with a keyboard. This statement was last reviewed on the date above.

Known limitations

  • Shared documents are shown as page images, the way their senders designed them. We extract their text so it can be read by assistive technology, but slides with little text, or charts without labels, may not have complete text alternatives. We can't change the colors or contrast inside someone else's document.
  • Choosing a custom brand color in settings uses your browser's built-in color picker, whose accessibility varies by browser.

Tell us about a barrier

If something in Jandshake is hard or impossible for you to use, email joshua@turnrow.solutions, or ask your contact at the organization that shared a document to pass your message on. Tell us the page and what happened. We aim to reply within 2 business days, and we treat accessibility barriers as bugs.
